Each site DAS builds is unique and built from the ground up. We don't believe in standardized templates because we understand that our clients want a site unique to their product, idea, service, or offering. We use the latest tools in technology and design to meet and exceed our clients' goals.
The first step in any of our web design projects is our initial Consultation Meeting. This meeting allows us to work with the client to identify measurable goals. We obtain specific answers to questions about what the site needs to do in terms of functionality and how the client wishes to be perceived on the web. From there, we can proceed to a proposal that details a timetable, web flow, process and project costs.
Upon a client's acceptance of our formal proposal we proceed to our Design Conception phase. We strive for clean, succinct websites that allow visitors to find the information they are looking for quickly and easily.
Some of the design concepts that we incorporate into all of our designs include: Clear and concise navigation, consistent format, clear and quick loading graphics, flash presentations, site maps, readily available contact information, and much more. We also ensure that the design concept is appropriate to our client’s industry and target audience. Once approved, the design samples representing how the main pages of the website will look and navigate will be sent to the production phase.
Depending upon the type of site our client desires, our web development team converts images and ideas to html and site structure. Additional features such as database development, Flash animation and other functionality will be integrated at this stage. In cases where a site may require frequent updating, content management systems are implemented that allow administrators to input fresh content without prior knowledge of HTML.
The last phase of a client's site development involves testing all applications for cross-platform and browser compatibility. In simple terms, we make sure the website works on Mac's and PC's as well as all of the current versions of AOL, Internet Explorer and Netscape. Once testing is complete, we launch the website and at the client's request, submit it to all major search engines.
